At Di Zock Design, we believe landscape architecture is an invitation—to step outside, to be present, and to recognize that we are part of something larger. Our approach is as much about refining and editing as it is about adding. Whether in a small garden, a commercial courtyard, or an expansive rural estate, we see landscape design as a bridge between people and the natural world, even in the heart of a bustling city.
We don’t design in a vacuum. Every project is shaped by the land itself, the architecture it surrounds, and the lives of those who will inhabit the space. By responding to these elements with sensitivity and intention, we create landscapes that feel both organic and timeless. The more we connect to the native context, the more we can invite it into our spaces—enhancing biodiversity, fostering sustainability, and creating places that truly belong.
From the intimate to the expansive, we approach every project with a commitment to thoughtful, environmentally sensitive design. Let’s create something meaningful together.

Di Zock
Di brings a unique perspective to design. After earning a BA in International Relations from Stanford University, she spent years in the film industry, but it was in the spaces between productions that a deeper passion emerged—landscape design. What began as an avocation soon became a calling, leading her to pursue a formal education in landscape architecture at UCLA. She became a licensed Landscape Architect in 2008 after founding her own practice in 2004.
An unabashed plant enthusiast, Di thrives on crafting landscapes that balance bold, adventurous planting design with a restrained approach to hardscape materials. Across a variety of project types and scopes, her work is guided by an intuitive response to context and an ongoing fascination with the relationship between the built and natural world.
